Parts of the guitar

Basics: All guitars are basically made from 3 parts. Head1, neck2 and body3. The head: The head has 6 tuning pegs4 which we use to tune each individual string. The neck: The neck is the piece of wood which is outside the body and which contains the majority of the fingerboard. Here we have the nut5 which supports the strings near the head. Hereafter the fretboard is divided into frets6. The body: On acoustic guitars, the sound is produced inside the body, and is coming out of the sound hole7. The strings are attached to a bridge8, and the wood after the bridge is called the sound board9. On electric guitars, sound is produced via microphones, also called pickups10.
